For excluded pupils and young people aged 5 to 15.
Our aim is to assist and support excluded pupils and young people with learning or behavioral difficulties, whilst they are waiting to be placed or statemented. We are a registered charity and make a minimal charge for our services.
We offer support for any excluded young person between 5 and 15 years of age.
Placements are available for 3 hours each weekday between 10.00am and 2.30pm. Transport is available for an extra charge.
Trained teaching personnel and play workers provide one-to-one support. All staff are CRB checked and qualified in first aid.
Confidential advice and advocacy is available for parents and carers from qualified independent advice workers.
Our objective is to provide a safe and non-threatening environment where young people have the opportunity to make friends, gain confidence and develop self esteem.
Activities available include art and crafts, sport, climbing structures, computing and internet access, trips and school work to suit the young person.
We work with schools, social services, parents and carers, to provide an alternative to mainstream school whilst awaiting a statement or placement.
